Making dream attainable
Intra ACP short mobility scheme (Share capacity) program has made possible for aspiring people like me to attain the skills needed for poverty eradication through agricultural innovation. Without it, was very a difficult journey to attain the knowledge I have at present. Being a final beneficiary of the scholarship, this is more that financial support, as it has provided me with skills to interact with other student and professional outside my home university and expanding the social network. I joined this PhD program without any financial support which was a difficult situation to tackle all financial implication related to the study. Hence, the scholarship was helpful in my study. It was really emotional and exciting time for me being accepted for the Intra ACP short mobility scholarship. I do consider as a glad student for this financial support as many students did not have the means to finance school themselves.
I love the Intra ACP short mobility scholarship as it foster my success, through this journey to the completion this PhD program. Without this scholarship, I was in situation either to deferred study or total cancelation from the study. As the study has a lot of cost implication and time of which I did not have it before. The scholarship has made me to study abroad where I found incredible new foods like Matoke (banana stiff cake), customs, traditions, and social atmospheres. The visit made to Ndele cultural centre has helped to a brief understanding of the history and traditional of different tribes exists in Uganda. Studying abroad is one of the most beneficial experiences for me which was impossible without this Share Intra ACP scholarship award
